The included MCP server exposes the same guest project operations as the web editor over stdio.

Connect an MCP client

Start HTMLDrop with npm run dev. Add this entry to your MCP client, replacing the path with your checkout path. The server does not need separate API credentials for public guest projects.

How edits work

Tools edit the working state directly. Changes arrive in connected browser editors through Yjs. The server checks revisions before applying state, and versions remain immutable. Publish after editing to update the public page. Delete, private projects, and account operations are not exposed in this guest release.
