From a blank canvas to a shareable experiment in a few small steps.

1. Start the local workspace

npm install
npm run dev

# Open http://localhost:3000

2. Make it yours

The first visit creates an Aurora gradients example. Edit index.html, style.css, or script.js and the preview updates after a short pause. Open New drop to choose a template or a blank canvas. Drag the dividers to resize the panes, or use the expand buttons.

3. Save a milestone

Working edits autosave continuously and are cached locally using componentor/fs and OPFS. Publish creates an immutable snapshot and updates the public page. Publishing unchanged state is intentionally skipped. Allow at least two seconds between versions.

4. Bring someone along

Share → Collaborate copies your editor URL. Open it in another browser or an incognito window to test live editing, cursors, and presence. Fork creates an independent project and version history.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Cmd/Ctrl + S: publish a version.
• Cmd/Ctrl + Enter: refresh the preview.
• Cmd/Ctrl + F inside an editor: search source.
• Cmd/Ctrl + Z: undo your own collaborative edits.
• Escape: close a dialog or expanded pane.
• Focus a pane divider and use arrow keys to resize.
