Published by EpoxyTableLab. This is a brand-created planning guide, not an independent product review.

This worksheet subtracts the entered stool seat height from the entered tabletop height. It displays the arithmetic difference in the unit you select. It does not classify a pairing as comfortable, safe, or compatible, and the table's top height does not establish the clearance beneath its supporting structure.

Use confirmed measurements

Start with the stated dimensions of the actual table and stool you are considering. Both values must use the same unit. If a measurement is missing, ask the relevant seller rather than estimating it from a photograph. The example values in the worksheet are illustrative inputs, not an ergonomic recommendation or product specification.

An adjustable stool needs an intended setting for this comparison. Enter that seat height and record the setting in your notes. If the setting changes, the difference changes too. The calculation does not read the stool's adjustment limits or determine whether a particular setting is appropriate.

Read the result narrowly

The result is top height minus seat height. A positive result means the entered top is higher than the entered seat. A negative result means the entered seat is higher than the entered top. Neither result establishes the suitability of the pairing.

The tool does not evaluate chair arms, footrests, upholstery, apron position, base supports, or the route used to push the stool inward. Ask for those details when they matter to your proposed arrangement. A simple numerical comparison should help organize questions, not replace an actual product drawing or compatibility confirmation.

Make the pairing reviewable

Save the exact table and stool names with their confirmed measurements. Include the proposed occupied and stored positions in a sketch. If you change the table base, stool model, or any dimensions, revisit the comparison and ask which earlier confirmations still apply.

This worksheet runs in the page without sending your measurements to EpoxyTableLab. It is a planning aid, not an order or a recommendation of a universal height relationship. Compare actual product information and ask the seller to confirm the configuration before buying the pair.

Compare the current options

Use the epoxy console and bar table collection collection to find candidates for your shortlist. Check the selected product rather than assuming that every design includes the same dimensions, base, finish, or accessories. Keep unanswered questions with your notes and confirm the final configuration before ordering.

const table=document.getElementById('table'),seat=document.getElementById('seat'),unit=document.getElementById('unit'),out=document.getElementById('result');let last='in';function calc(){const t=Number(table.value),s=Number(seat.value);if(!Number.isFinite(t)||!Number.isFinite(s)||t<=0||s<=0){out.textContent='Enter two positive measurements in the same unit.';return}out.textContent=`Top minus seat: ${(t-s).toFixed(2)} ${unit.value}.
